Finn had a great time with Ally! I think he was very well taken care of and came home a happy tired pup.

I sometimes think my dog would prefer to live with Ally - we always know when she’s at the door, because Polar goes absolutely crazy with excitement! I recently had a baby and Ally was an absolute lifesaver both before, (I couldn’t walk Polar during the final 3 months of pregnancy due to hip problems, so the responsibility fell to my husband, who really appreciated Ally stepping in whenever he needed a break), during (Ally immediately stepped in and took care of Polar and our cat when I was kept in hospital for several nights after a difficult birth) and after the birth of our baby (Ally regularly takes Polar out on long runs or romps in the countryside which we would otherwise struggle to do with a young baby). Polar adores spending time with Ally which helps enormously to ease the sense of guilt that we don’t have as much time for her as we used to as I know that she is happy and stimulated in Ally’s company. Polar can be insecure and reactive around other dogs, and she can also pull on the lead. However, since Ally grew up on a farm with dogs and horses), she knows how to anticipate and manage challenging behaviour in animals, and her confidence around animals also helps reduce Polar’s reaction to other dogs. I completely trust Ally to make the right decisions for Polar when she is in her care and can say without a word of doubt that Polar’s life is richer for having Ally in it!
