In addition to caring for my own menagerie of pets over the years (including the five chickens, sassy cat and adorable dog I currently share my life with), I also have professional experience caring for animals, dogs and cats in particular, as an intern with the regional animal shelter. I began volunteer work at the local and regional animal shelters at a very young age and continued throughout my youth, walking the shelter dogs, playing with puppies, giving the old dogs a little extra attention, and socializing the cats. Then, last summer, I accepted an internship with the behaviorist at the regional shelter. As a part of this job, I worked with diverse ages, temperaments, and breeds and I continue to maintain a deep love for them all. My availability is wide open as I make the transition to higher education, so I look forward to working with your dog(s)!
