Pet care experience
My family has always had dogs, I got my first puppy, Luna, when I was around 9. We were attached at the hip, she would follow me everywhere. She was a small chihuahua-poodle mix who loved big dogs, so naturally my next dog was a big mastiff. I’ve been a dog bather and I am now a certified dog groomer with the hopes of doing mobile grooming. I believe each dog has their own unique personality with something to teach us to enjoy in life. Luna taught me to enjoy the sunsets more, my past dogs have made me appreciate rain and driving with the windows down; all the little things. I’ve given my dogs pills and various ointments for eyes and ears routinely for years and have been around many senior dogs. I love going on walks and it’s all the more enjoyable when I can take a dog (or two) with me.

Allura is wonderful. They gave Tucker a chance since he’s a reactive 70 lb 1 year old with endless energy and I so appreciate it! Updates and pics on a regular basis. 5*
Allura has been great and very accommodating. We really appreciate her help with our foster dog during our time out. She has been very responsive and seems to love dogs 🩷.
Aria seemed the happiest/least stressed out she's ever been after a stay with a sitter xD (she's an anxious one) Allura was very nice, and has a beautiful home, and truly seems to care for both her own pups and yours. Will definitely be booking again!
Allura took care of our eight year old Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix over a weekend (Friday to Sunday afternoon). He is a high energy dog and was kept busy playing ball in their spacious backyard and taken for a walk one of the days while there. Updates and pictures were sent daily to us. He seemed content and adjusted well during our absence. We would not hesitate to return our "Skipper" to Allura's care should the need arise again. Thank you!

The backyard has a tall fence and there are camera’s to check in case of emergency. The dogs are never outside alone and the door leading out is in the bedroom so there’s quick access. We do have 2 extra large crates if need be, they’re usually just folded up until then. When I’m not there all doors are closed and access to anything not for dogs is removed while plenty of toys are out for entertainment.

I’m comfortable with every dog, my main focus is on their comfort levels. If there are objects, beds, special activities that make them feel more at home I prefer for them to have that during their stay. Most dogs are open with their boundaries from the start but if there are any special things based on the particular dog I do believe it’s important to know before the stay.
A typical day
I love going on walks in my neighborhood and there are a few parks either walking distance or a 5 minute drive. We have a fenced in backyard which makes it safe to play fetch or chase in the yard.

Availability
My partner has a dog currently so we tent to wake up by 8-9 to get him fed and out for potty. I work a very flexible job that’s just up the road from my house and can make frequent stops to check in on the dogs. I spend most of my time at work or at home so the dogs won’t be alone for very long.
