My family is military and moved around a lot so we could never have animals but when I volunteered with Wichita's humane society, it rekindled my love and aided in my choice to go into vet med. I used to walk my neighbor's dogs on base housing for free and my daily responsibilities at school include working in our on campus clinic so I am very well-versed in in medical side of care as well as grooming and other basic care. I'm free most weekdays after 12:30 and occasionally in the mornings of weekdays as well. I also have no issue giving medications or administering preventatives. I may not be able to stay out all night but if your kiddo is with me, I'll make sure they're happy, sated, and as healthy as can be.
