Hello, my name is Allison. I work a full-time job as a domestic violence advocate and have a very active lifestyle. I began my pet care services with Rover in the beginning of January 2022 and have worked with mainly medium to large dogs, but an open to any size pet. Previously. I have had experience walking dogs with a local kennel, house/pet sitting for friends and family, and was raised in a large family ranch where I helped care for large quantities of cows, dogs, cats, and horses

I live in an apartment complex with its own walking path and within 2 miles of the local dog park. I have one dog, Sadie, who is friendly and loves to meet new playmates. Rover has provided the opportunity to have supplemental income in my free time so I am flexible on cost and cancellation

A typical day
Your pets safety and happiness are paramount I am to create a stress-free and fun environment for everyone while keeping to a similar routine to what they are familiar with. For dog walks, I provide three different forms 1. Brisk walk: a great opportunity to burn energy by distance and speed 2. A sniffing walk: slow walk allowing your dog to sniff and explore the environment for as long as they want 3. Structured Leash: keep dogs engaged by using leash activities to create a calm state of mind.

Availability
I work a full-time 8-4:30 position but I have a flexible schedule during lunch and other breaks to check on/walk your pets and better adapt to their schedule. Your favorite babies’ trust and comfort is the most important thing to me and I will do my best for a regular routine so they feel comfy and familiar in their environment .
