Hi, I'm Allison, a remote worker who is passionate about animals! Thank you for considering me for your pet care needs. I've been caring for pups since I was a kid—between learning puppy care skills after our family adopted a 6-week-old Bichon Frise, walking, feeding, and taking care of my neighbors' dogs as a teen, and spending my adult years as a cat owner and animal shelter volunteer, I'm well-versed in animal care. Both my family dog and cat are up in age, so I'm also especially sensitive to the needs of senior animals. Having a stranger in the house taking care of your fur baby can be scary, so I strive to create a calm, safe, and loving environment for your pets and a professional and communicative experience for you.

Allison has come over to watch my cat on several occasions and has always gone above and beyond to make sure he’s well fed, played with, and content while I’m gone. I couldn’t be more grateful for all of her help and would absolutely recommend her to take care of anyone’s pets!
I was very pleased with my Rover sitter. She did a great job following the detailed instructions that I left for my senior dog. My dog is usually anxious when I leave her and won’t eat but that was not an issue this time. She obviously felt relaxed and less stressed with the affectionate and attentive care that she received. I will be using this sitter again.
Allison is a great pet caregiver! She has watched my cat many times when I am out of town and I always feel comfortable leaving because I know he is fed, given attention, and well taken care of.

I let them come to me; I focus on establishing trust so that I can do my job effectively and make your pets feel loved and secure during all interactions. One way that I do this is by requiring a Meet and Greet with you at your home before I begin sitting so that I can make sure that we're a good match—you can see how I interact with your pet, show me any specific care guidelines you have, and get to know me before entrusting me with your dog or cat.

A typical day
Lots of walks and playtime! I'll be sure to engage your pets with their favorite toys and treats for a personalized experience. Every pet plays differently, but universally, all pets I've worked with love going on a "treat hunt" with their favorite snacks hidden for them to find; it's good mental and physical stimulation, and, of course, your pet loves the extra treats.

Availability
I understand the importance of keeping a schedule for pets, especially with potty breaks and meal times. I am flexible and can work with you to find the best times for pet care and drop-ins. I also work remotely, so I often have the availability to be at your home during normal working hours.
