Pet care experience
I've been a dog mom of a small but troublesome fur baby for over 6 years. I am step-dog mom to 2 big & loving farm dogs, & I have a long history of pet sitting numerous felines & dogs between family, roommates, & friends. My family has 4 vets in it's midst, having lived with 2 of them in recent years I've learned a lot about pet behavior & common ailments. "Responsible" has been an adjective applied to me by others for as long as I can remember. If I can't have more pets in my own home, I'm eager to love on yours in their safe space & care for them just as you would.

I'll match your pet's energy level...play, run, cuddle, etc. I've hand-fed pets when they don't want to eat because they miss their owners. I'll take care of them gently and sweetly, but can be firm when needed to deal with any behavior problems. Rest assured I'll treat them lovingly & like my own!

I highly value expectations being communicated, so please let me know how your dog typically behaves around new comers or other pets, during bad weather, etc. Knowing their behavior and how you typically do things will allow me to provide the smoothest care possibly with the least interruption to their routine for a happy pupper!
A typical day
I'll play with your pupper however they prefer - toy tug of war, fetch, running with them, letting them splash in a pool/pond, hide and seek, etc. If you're okay with it and time permits, I'm happy to take your dog on a car ride to a park/trail for a change in scenery and scents!

Working from home allows me the extra time in the mornings & evenings to visit your pets, additionally I'm able to shift my lunch hour around to best suit your pet's break schedule.
