My name is Allison, and I live in Litchfield with my two adorable dogs - Jackson, who is an 11-year-old Boston Terrier, and Mojo, who is an 11-year-old Boston Terrier/Pug mix. I have been providing pet care services for more than a decade now, and I take great pride in offering compassionate and loving care to all animals. It all started in 2010 when I launched my own Pet Sitting and Dog Walking business. Through this business, I have been able to offer pets superior care services in the comfort of their own homes. Five years ago, I decided to expand my knowledge and education on the canine mind, and I became a certified dog trainer. My training is focused on using positive reinforcement to improve the quality of life of both the four-legged fur babies and their two-legged parents. I have worked with all kinds of breeds and cats. The breed of dog that I have had has mostly been Boston terrier so I have specialized knowledge of them and their needs. With all my clients, I like to know if they have any medical issues I should be aware of, allergy issues, fear issues, bite history and training needs if necessary.
A typical day
I use puzzles and games to reinforce "brain games" and positive behavioral actions to encourage enrichment. Also I find that implementing "training" into every day activities can make training fun for both the human and the dog.
