At the moment, I have an unfenced yard, surrounded by family farm land, not facing a roadway or highway. Therefore, I do not plan on allowing your pet to free roam, during walks or potty times. We will practice loose and long leashing, which does not make them feel like they are on a leash at all. I do not want them to feel constantly tied up while we are out enjoying fresh air. If your pet enjoys being outside, but is used to also being in a chain link pen at times, then yes I have an optional 20ft x 10ft x 6ft tall pen for day time / alone time if you would prefer some time in the sun (Aug 2021) We are planning to fence in our 5 acre front yard in the coming months. I 100% am a fan of allowing pets to stay in the house with me. I just ask for openness when asked if your pet is house trained. I have an XL Crate if your furry friend is crate trained, and I have a guest bedroom if they just would rather lay on their bed from home and have a safe space to call their own. I am flexible. This is about making your pet feel comfortable. NOTE TO MY CAT OWNER FRIENDS: I will never host a cat and dog in the same house unless they are from the same household. I am also a cat person. I would be tickled to host a cat. They have such "special" personalities. I just normally target the above information to our dog friends, because that is a more common guest. I have basic clay litter, and extra litter boxes, so that you don't have to worry about toting all of that around when we exchange.
