Hello! My name is Allison (but I go by Sonny 😊) and I have 6 years of experience working professionally with animals. I began my journey in the pet care industry in 2016 doing pet sitting and dog walking before moving onto my career working at Petco in 2017. I started out doing animal care for the small animals, reptiles, fish and adoptable cats. In 2018 I found my passion when I became a certified Positive Reinforcement Dog trainer and have been training ever since while continuing to do pet sitting and dog walking on the side. I am excited to use the skills and expertise I’ve learned to make your pet feel as happy and cared for as possible! I am available to do drop in visits for your pet where I can take them out for a potty break, feed them, play with them, and administer medication or bathe them if necessary. I am also available for standard dog walking with 30 or 60 minute time slots. I am committed to pet care full time and am available for you and your pet anytime during the week and weekend for any services you may need! I have many years of training and experience in how to properly care for animals in the most kindest way possible. In my experience as a Dog trainer I have acquired the ability to expertly assess animals body language and respond in whichever way helps make them feel most at ease and heard. I have worked with dogs as small as 3lbs and as big as 200lbs as well as animals with special needs. I have experience in administering medication to dogs, cats, reptiles and other various small animals such as guinea pigs and hamsters. Working with animals is my passion in life and I am fully committed to giving you and your pet a fun, positive and safe experience!
