Pet care experience
I recently received my degree in wildlife biology and have had multiple animal related jobs in the past. I just finished a job as an animal caretaker at an animal rescue. I have some pet care experience and I am also hard working, trustworthy, and have a great work ethic. As an animal caretaker, I was required to give medication to dogs and take care of dogs with injuries and even paralyzed dogs. I currently have a 5 year old boxer mix named Bailey and a 3 year old German Shepherd named Maverick, 2 cats, fish, and a snake. I have owned geckos and gerbils in the past so I have a variety of pet care experience. I have also taken care of all kinds of dogs, including elderly dogs and puppies. I have loved animals for as long as I can remember and I someday want a career related to animals. I am comfortable working with all kinds of animals. I work from home so I am available all day most days to visit with your pets!

Allison was great. She showed up at great times for our dog's required bathroom breaks. I would definitely contact Allison again for our dog care needs.
Allison was wonderful walking and visiting our dog while we were out of town. She included several photos in her daily updates and the dog seemed very happy. Allison is a very good communicator and always felt our dog was being cared for and loved. We would definitely re-hire.
Allison was fantastic! She was proactive in checking in with me before the planned drop in visits to discuss details , etc. She arrived promptly during the time frames we discussed for drop ins, took pics and gave us a care report for each dog during the visit. You can tell she has a true heart for animals! This was our first time using Rover and we would gladly use Allison’s services and Rover again ❤️?

A typical day
I love to work dogs' minds as well as their bodies. Mental stimulation is very important to help get a dog's energy out. I will play games with them and take them on nice long walks. Play time is also important for cats, and I like to make sure they are getting some play as well.
