I'm a second year medical student and lifelong dog owner/lover. Right now, I don't live with a dog and would love to fill the canine void in my life by helping take care of your pups! Classes are out for the summer, so I currently have very flexible hours; I'm available any time (except Tuesdays 8AM-1PM) to take your dog ( or dogs!) on long walks, play fetch, or just spend some quality time together! About me and my experience: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, and I currently have a four year old whippet/labrador mix, Belle, who has been living with my parents for the past year while I'm in school full-time. I rescued her in Chicago as a puppy and we spent three years living in an apartment and frequenting dog parks and beaches; suffice it to say, she loves her new big backyard, being able to chase squirrels OFF the leash, and having my retired parents giving her attention all day! She has quite the quirky and vibrant personality and some separation anxiety, so we attended training classes together and I fully understand the need for consistency and reliable caretakers. If your dog has any special training/walking/behavior needs, I'll certainly play my part in adhering and helping out.
