I'm a former Humane Society volunteer with 20+ years of caring for and loving dogs: from pups to seniors and dogs with special needs! I have 2 small dogs of my own & I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pups while you travel, so I wanted to offer my fellow pet parents a loving, pampered, and expert-level alternative to the often stressful franchise boarding options! I will care for your dog as though they are my own, which means tons of pampering and attention for the pets and tons of pictures and updates to share with you while you travel! I have a fenced front yard, lots of doggie beds, and two parks within walking distance, so your pup will go out throughout the day. I have extensive experience with special needs dogs & seniors, and if your older pups prefer to rest during the day they'll have a soft, safe spot on a doggie bed. My older dog likes to sleep during the day. My younger dog enjoys a bit of playing, but she is a pro at gauging whether a visiting dog is up for playing or prefers napping.

Allison was fantastic! She took wonderful care of my dog Luna, who is a little bit quirky :) Luna was super comfortable with Allison, and had a great time going on walks and playing outdoors. Allison sent a ton of great photos, and it was obvious that Luna was happy and cozy at her house. Big thank you to Allison for accommodating Luna during the holiday season!!

Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I have doggie ramps for the little ones. I also have yoga mats for doggies who need an extra bit of traction on hardwood flooring. My cottage is quiet and peaceful, and it's one level so I can easily keep your dog in sight. I live in a very safe neighborhood in Queen Anne, I know all of the best places to walk, and I love taking visiting dogs on walks around my neighborhood and through the parks!

**I prefer to host dogs under 40 pounds.** Well socialized, friendly dogs who are up to date on their shots and don't have aggressive tendencies towards other dogs and humans are welcome! I would also need to make sure your dog is up to date on their heart worm and tick medication (seasonally). I love senior dogs and small dogs!
A typical day
We can do just about anything! We can walk around my beautiful neighborhood, go to the local parks, go for a hike, play in my front yard, or just relax at home. My cottage is a very peaceful, clean, and safe place filled with soft dog beds and comfy furniture. Regardless of what we do, they will always receive tons of affection.

I'm also currently working from home, so I'll have plenty of time to care for your pups! They will go out at least 4-6 times a day, and I can include longer walks into their routine if you'd like.
