However, growing up I always had cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and other pets as part of my family. I find animals inspire joy and encourage a more fulfilling and active lifestyle which is why I choose to pet sit and have ever since I was a child. I try to snap a shot that portrays their personality or mood at the time. This will give you a real feel for how they’re doing, a fun keepsake & hopefully peace of mind. ***For pet grooming services ONLY please book a drop in visit and notify me. The rate will remain the same, but the service will conclude upon completion of grooming. If you'd like a grooming care in addition to a walk/ drop-in you’ll receive more than 40% off of the grooming fee. ($20.00) Summary of Skills: *Basic knowledge about pet grooming, bathing and cleaning methods for different types of pets *Ensures pets have proper and appropriate exercise for their breed *Capable of managing both excitable and timid pets handling each situation in a way that works for your specific pet *Hands-on experience of working with different breed dogs and cats *Compassion for pets, flexibility to meet your family’s needs, and capacity to handle playtime management to ensure good health of your pet *Good communication and organizational skills General Previous Experience Included: *Performing overnight dog and cat sitting duties for clients both at their residence and at my own *Performing basic grooming techniques *Helping raise both dogs and cats in my own family growing up *Taking pets for a long walk and providing safe play options to ensure they stay energetic and happy when way from their owners *Keeping pets in my home for long weekends or for extended vacations as per the need of their owners and addressing to their pet's needs *Provided a loving place for dogs and cats to ensured their comfort when they are away from their owners *Coordinated with owners over phone and email to understand their pet's food requirements as well as methods to restrain aggressive behavior *Performed duties of grooming pets and took them for outdoor activities in dog parks *Prepared schedules for drop-offs and pick-ups for the pet owners *Adhered to clients advice/complaints to ensure continually improving services *Followed owner instructions on animal needs and provided interactive activities to ensure the pets were receiving the mental stimulation they need to remain happy and healthy
