Pet care experience
I have had a dog throughout my whole life and have helped many family and friends take care of their animals! I also worked at a dog and cat boarding/daycare center for two years! Working in that environment exposed me to dogs of all ages and sizes. It allowed me to learn how to give dogs and cats oral medications as well as shots of any kind. There were several dogs that would come and be nervous, it was important to take the right safety precautions with these dogs and made sure they were comfortable for my safety as well as the dogs. I would love to take your furry family member(s) for walks or babysit them!

Allison does an AMAZING job with our fur babies. Every time we have her babysit them, they are all over her giving her kisses and loves! She has become a part of their family! When they see her walking towards the front door they start crying happy tears ❤️. She’s also been working with one of our more stubborn fur baby on harder commands! She’s coming so far with her. Im currently living in a house with a roommate who has three dogs, one around 50lbs, one around 35lbs and one around 15lbs! I take them out around every 3 hours and always make sure they have water and are well hydrated in this Florida heat! I also make sure they have time to play with their toys and have fun throughout the day. But also make sure they have their time to rest.

It’s important to know if the dog is comfortable with the environment as well making sure they are comfortable with me. Some dogs may get a little nervous when meeting new people and I always make sure that I don’t rush them, it’s important to let the dog come to me! It’s also important to know if the dog/cat has any medical conditions or medications they need!
A typical day
I love walking and exploring around new areas but always make sure I am in a safe environment for me as well as the dog! Playing fetch is one of my favorites, it is always fun to watch the dogs run after their favorite toy with such joy!
