Pet care experience
I’ve never been without a dog in my life. They are a necessity for my family and I. In the last 3 years, both my childhood dogs passed. To move forward from that loss I decided to raise my own puppy in college, Phoebe. Since moving to NY, I’ve been without her and have really missed her companionship. I have all this pent up love to show towards dogs since being away from my own. This would be great job to mesh both my passion for helping people and taking care of some furry friends.

Allison took care of my two dogs while I was on holiday for a week and I felt so safe and secure leaving them with her! She has a wonderful, warm energy and is incredibly responsible. She kept me updated with pics of my two boys, Rocko and Funk- which I greatly appreciated! Highly recommend her!
Allison has dog-sat for me multiple times. She is very caring and responsible. She always is in touch, sending me necessary updates and pictures of my pup while I’m away. My pup, Rosie, is a tad shy, takes a bit to warm up to new people.. Allison was patient and kind with her, it’s no surprise that Rosie quickly warmed up to her. Highly recommend.

I would have no problem crating your pet and feeding them depending on their schedule. I would take them on frequent walks around the city. If they are available to roam free. I would play with them and give them all the cuddles necessary!

I would like to know if your dog takes medications or has any physical challenges. I want to know how your dog responds to being around other dogs or humans.
A typical day
For one, I love Central Park West and Riverside Park. Those are the walks I usually go on and where I’ll sit and am greeted by dozens of dogs. Depending on how your dog is with other dogs, I would love to take them to this one spot there where they can play with others dogs. There’s tons of room for them to run and fetch, as well.

I am currently a full time student at an acting conservatory in the city. I have most Saturdays and Sundays free to walk the dogs or stay overnight.
