Pet care experience
I grew up with two cats and have had housemates with dogs for 5 years. I've dogsat for housemates, friends, and family members, sometimes for a week or longer at a time. I was the primary caretaker for a family member's elderly dog for most of the pandemic. Lately, I've mostly cared for medium or large dogs, but I also enjoy interacting with smaller dogs and cats.

Allison is great with my Enzo! He recently had orthopedic surgery and she was great with all his restrictions and medications. I felt very comfortable being able to leave on a short vacation with him in her care! She always sends pictures and updates and is a great communicator.
Allison was such a great walker for our dog Ted! I would highly recommend her for any family!
Allison is responsible, communicate, and kind! Super professional and got along super well with our pup! She was on time for walks everyday, sent us photos and videos, and recorded details of the walks every time! Will highly recommend!

I am able to walk pets around your neighborhood or at a convenient other location (dog park, etc), and I can be available to make drop-in visits and/or stay with pets in your home. I am not able to offer services in my own home, as pets require registration and approval through the HOA office.

Please keep me informed of your pet's needs and preferences so that I can care for them in the best and most customized way possible. I know how stressful it can be for both the pet and the pet parent to be apart, so my goals are to make everyone's experience safe, healthy, as relaxing as possible, and fun! I think the best way to make that happen is for me to remain open-minded and do my best to have clear communication with pet parents.
A typical day
I love to walk and jog by myself or with pets, and my favorite place to walk is Doyle Park, which has a great walking path (for those dogs who want some solo time stretching their legs) as well as a large dog park (for those dogs who prefer socializing and running around with other pups. I'm flexible and adaptable, so my choice of pace, activity, and setting will depend on the particular needs and preferences of the pet in question.

Availability
I am a graduate student finishing up writing for some research projects this summer, so I have a lot of time and flexibility available for pet care. I will have some Zoom meetings, which I can easily coordinate with my pet care schedule and/or take from any location with wi-fi.
