Pet care experience
I genuinely love and care for all animals. Before moving to Vermont, I volunteered weekly at the Detroit Humane Society and have two little cats of my own, Martin and Olive, and a 1 year old pup, Sawyer. I grew up with dogs my entire life, and have pet-sitted dogs, cats, hamsters, and even birds, so I have experience with all kinds of animals. I know what it’s like to worry about your pets while on vacation, and I will personally ensure that your pets get all the love and fun that they deserve while you’re away. Whether it’s taking your pup for a walk or house sitting your cats, I will do everything in my power to ensure your pets are happy and cared for, while sending you updates so that you can share in the fun!

I wish I could give Allison more than 5 stars! She did an amazing job communicating, sending photos, and taking care of our Frenchie & Pitbull. From dealing with some messes from our sick/anxious pup on the first day to going for a long walk once the weather cooled down a bit, Allison was fantastic, positive, and comforting to have in our home. On our end, the whole experience was really great and went without a hitch. Would 100% book with Allison again and recommend her to anyone with dogs in the Detroit area.
Allison K is one of the most caring and responsible people that I know. I have trusted her on numerous occasions to take care of my cats and plants while I was away. She even has left my place cleaner than I did! You can tell that she really loves animals. In fact, once or twice a week she volunteers at the Humane society so she can care for dogs and cats who need some extra love and attention. Allison has always been dependable and I am so grateful for her care when my little animals need it. I would recommend her to anyone.

I’m able to give your pets any medical attention they need as well, and have experience administering medications to both dogs and cats.

A typical day
We will go on walks through through the neighborhood, and we may even go on a hike! If your pup enjoys playing with other dogs, I will bring them to a dog park to play fetch and romp around with their dog friends!

I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your animals, weekends or weekdays work for me! My work schedule is flexible and remote, so I can even work from your home while snuggling up with your pets on the couch.
