Pet care experience
I’m a HUGE animal lover and have grown up around all different breeds of dogs and cats my entire life. I started taking care of household pets as an adolescent, pet sitting for friends in college, and now at almost 30 I take care of pets professionally! In the past I have been a driving part of the dog walking and socializing group for SEGA (south eastern greyhounds of America). I have also fostered kittens/cats in my past, so I’m familiar and comfortable with different animal temperaments and behaviors. I pride myself on having years of experience in pet sitting with all different breeds and sizes of dogs/cats.

Allison helped us during a last minute family emergency and she did great with our high energy puppy. We had a lot of requests and Allison was patient and reassuring the whole time.

I listen and observe how your pet is reacting, so that I can make them as comfortable as possible. I will ensure that your pet is safe by assessing situations beforehand and always being aware of surroundings. I also listen to instructions or concerns from pet parents regarding their pet. I will update you with photos, videos, and texts so you can see how your pet is doing during my visits.

A typical day
I would love to keep them on their regular eating and play schedule so they aren’t anxious from a new routine. For dogs, I encourage long walks, lots of sniffing/exploring with their nose, and playing fetch. For cats, I like to add in playtime, petting, and cuddles. Fun fact: 15 minutes of sniffing is the same stimulation as 30 minutes of physical exercise for dogs!
