Pet care experience
I have had dogs my whole life and have always loved pets! I not only have experience with dogs but with cats, fish, ferrets, hamsters, and guinea pigs. If needed I can always help out with other animals in the house! My first dog was a labrador retriever and then I had a golden retriever. I currently have an 8 year old designer dog which is a mix of mini. pincher mini. poodle and yorkie, as well as a 5 month old german shepard. I have experience with watching and taking care of friends and families dog as well as taking care of my own pups. I am well versed in the needs of many breeds of dogs as well as how to cater to different sized breeds and dogs who need extra attention or need to take medication. I have full time availability so I can always be available to help you out with anything from a walk to an overnight stay. If you would like to book me for an overnight stay at your house I would have to bring my young child with me. I look forward to helping out and meeting your wonderful pets!

I'm so glad I booked Allison to watch my cat while I was traveling. She soothed all of my anxiety about leaving my cat by sending thorough updates and pictures every day.
Allison watched all 3 of my dogs for an extended weekend and did an amazing job! They can be a lot to handle but she followed all my instructions and gave them lots of attention while we were away! She send multiple updates with pictures and made us feel so comfortable leaving them at home! Will definitely rebook in the future!

I love all breeds of dogs no matter the size. There are a few things I would love to know before watching your pets: What time they eat/drink and how much they are given at each meal. Their favorite toy or game. Where they sleep (in a cage, on a special pillow, in bed with you, etc.) If they have any medication they need to take and if so how often. If they get any special treats. If they have any temperament issues weather with people or other animals I should be aware of. As well as anything else you would like for me to know!
A typical day
I love going on walks around the neighborhood as well as going to the dog park. I take my dogs to Barstow Woods in Midland. There are wonderful trails in the woods to explore as well as plenty of space to run around and socialize with other dogs.
