I have learned a lot from my dogs over the past 10 years. I have a high anxiety reactive dog that takes anxiety medication, and an elderly dog that requires patience and compassion. I always had cats growing up and enjoy taking care of cats as well. I know it can be hard to plan trips around pets. I am available to do drop in visits to make sure they are safe and able to go outside when needed. I have worked 12 hour shifts in the past and it can be hard to find someone available to check on them. I have been taking care of pets, mostly large dogs for about 10 years. I’m also a nurse and am comfortable with giving medications and injections if needed. I have recently assisted my friend with her diabetic cat when she is out of town administering sub-q insulin if you have the need for this.
