A Dog's Paradise!

Hi! We are Allison and Sophie and we would LOVE to take care of your dog! We have an adorable miniature wire-haired dachshund named Bailey who absolutely loves other dogs. We know she sits around and daydreams about having other dogs around to play with! We love our dog more than anything and understand how important it is to feel like you can trust the people taking care of your pet. That being said, having used Rover before, our number one concern was that our dog was being treated in the same manner we treat her at home. That meant plenty of walks, trips to the dog park, and a lot of attention. You can definitely expect that from us! We live in an apartment just a block from a dog park and take our dog there every day. We love to take our dogs on outings with us, and if that is something you desire for your dog, we would be happy to bring them along! While we are relatively new to dog sitting, we both know what it takes to take care of animals, as we both have had many family dogs in our lives. We would give our full attention and time to your pet and truly treat him or her as our own! We can also administer medication and will follow any requests you may have in regards to properly taking care of your pet. While Sophie works full time, I work part time and will be spending most of my days with your pup!

I couldn't have been happier with Tucker's stay. Allison and Sophie provided him with a safe, loving home while we were away and we got plenty of pics and updates. We will definitely book with them again!
Another awesome stay! Riley was treated so well, she didn't want to leave. Allison & Sophie are wonderful, always sending updates and pictures, and taking care of our pup like she's one of their own. Highly recommend!
Allison and Sophie took great care of our pup and even gave her a bath after a long morning at the dog park! We came home to a happy pup who loved snuggling and playing with their dog, Bailey. We will definitely be bringing our puppy back next time we leave town.
Allison was wonderful! She kept us updated daily, sending pictures and little notes about Riley. She was flexible and always quick to respond, especially when we were worried our flight home would be canceled due to the storm! Would definitely use again and highly recommend!

Information Allison H. would like to know about your pet
Is your dog housebroken? How does he or she do with other dogs? Do they have any "naughty" tendencies? (i.e. chewing) We cannot take dogs with any signs of aggression. While Bailey is extremely submissive to any and every dog, she is still small and we cannot have an aggressive dog staying with us. We would be happy to do a meet and greet with your dog prior to the stay to ensure a good fit!
A typical day
We live a block away from Church Square Park, and we take Bailey there every evening to run in the dog park with her friends. This dog park is always packed, so there will be plenty of dogs to play with! We also take her on walks multiple times a day. Bailey sleeps with us in bed, and your dog is welcome to sleep where they like. Sophie is allergic to shedding dogs, so while your dog is staying with us they will not be allowed to sleep on the bed. They do have full run of the apartment! We love to take Bailey on trips with us, and if you prefer that for your dog, they can come along to the store or wherever else we might need to stop! We often go hiking in Alpine, NJ along the Hudson River, and usually bring any willing dogs with us. If this is something that interests you for your pup, we would love to take them along! We want to accommodate your dog in any way that they may need.
