I believe every pup should have a home. And if some occasional coverage from a responsible fellow dog lover can allow others to continue to make that a reality, well then I’m happy to be of assistance. I’ve had dogs my whole life. For years I’ve helped care for, walk and sit my friends’ and neighbors’ dogs. Getting out and walking pups is a win-win for me - it gets me out for some exercise and it just makes me happy. I’m comfortable walking dogs of all sizes, and never get bummed about paw prints on my clothes :) I have a 7 year old shih-tzu named Bonnie and a border collie/whoknowswhat mix named Benjin, who will be 1 in April. They are both friendly to dogs of all sizes. Bonnie appreciates the low-key dogs while Benjin has TONS of energy and will romp around in the yard all day with his friends. I understand that leaving your dog in the care of someone can be scary and stressful. That’s why I am super flexible and willing to work to meet your dog’s lifestyle requirements and aim to make them feel as much at home as possible. If they need to take frequent potty breaks I am home all day and can let them in and out as often as they need to go. If your pup gets a little muddy outside while playing I’ll also make sure they’re clean and sparkly when you pick them up. Also, if your pup has daily medication I am flexible in that regard as well. Now that I work from home I get so much joy from hanging out with my own dogs and would love to have visitors! I have a 1500 sq ft house with lots of room, and if there’s ever even a slight disagreement between any dogs that stay in my home, I can easily separate them. My yard is fenced (but it’s 4 ft not 6, so if you’ve got a jumper or a climber we might want to consider that).
