Pet care experience
I have always been a pet owner and lover. I have fostered dogs and puppies for various rescues, volunteered at the SPCA for 9 years and worked at a local vet for over 4 years. My work at the vet's office has given me experience working with young puppies and kittens, old timers, nervous pets, and sick or injured animals. I enjoy outdoor adventures like hikes and trips to the dog park as well as chill out time at home. I have experience with large breed dogs as all of my dogs have been over 80 pounds, but of course I love the little guys as well! I am up for watching any furry friend, from old to young, lazy to active, big to small.

Allison really saved me…I needed help last minute and I’m so lucky she was available! I could tell from the minute she met my Poppy that my girl would be in great hands. Knowing Poppy was going on long walks and getting updates and adorable pictures took a lot of stress off my shoulders while I was working.
Allison was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely communicative, and took such good care of my two kitties, including one who required medications twice a day. They were clearly very well taken care of and loved while I was away. Can't wait to book her again!

I live in an apartment with a gated patio that is shared with 2 neighbors who are both animal friendly. I am very close to a walking trail and like to walk it often. Pets are allowed on the furniture in my home if the owner is ok with it.

Availability
I work from home part of the week and am available weekends. Please note, I am currently working in the office every Wednesday, Thursday and every other Mondays (10/31, 11/14, 11/28, 12/12, etc.) Those days my services will be limited to your pet’s regular morning/evening routines (including walks) and an overnight stay. However your pet will have to be okay being left alone for 11-12 hours during the day, or have alternate care scheduled for mid-day (for the above mentioned days only). I am happy to discuss in further detail if you have any questions.
