Pet care experience
I am a responsible, detail-oriented individual who has always had a passion for animals, especially canines! I have experience as an animal caretaker over the past 12+ years. I currently work part-time with Service Dogs, was an assistant dog trainer for basic obedience and dog sport agility; participating with my Pomeranian. I am also a former zookeeper in the zoological field with various species. I strictly adhere to utilizing R+ positive reinforcement methods for long term results. I've worked with a variety of different dog breeds (even those prone to DA and SSA), conformation/show dogs, and I am comfortable administering any medications and caring for your pups as needed. I specialize in geriatric needs for any elderly pet members.

Ally was so great with my dog muffin! Muffy is on a strict medication regiment and she was great to card for her and keep her on schedule. She’s was also great tibuodatr
Great communication. Understood how to positively handle our leash reactive dog and reward/redirect on walks. Frequent updates with photos and left our house better than she found it. No hesitation in recommending especially if you're concerned about ensuring your pup has consistency on walks and around the house while you're away.
Allison is wonderful! She is so knowledgeable about animals and took such great care of our dog Tulip! I felt comfortable with Allison from our initial meeting and greet and she did not disappoint. I completely trust Allison with my pup and home. She is all around a great person.
Love Allison!!! She took care of my babies, Bella and Roscoe while out of town for a week. She gave daily updates and sent lots of pics (which I soooo appreciated and loved!!). I will use her as long as I can for pet sitting. Thank you Allison and Rover!!!

Safety, trust & environment
While crate training while away is ideal and in the best interest of a dogs safety, I always ensure things are secure. I am extremely hyper-aware of food that is left out and of exits and entry ways to prevent escape.
Information Allison F. would like to know about your pet
Open to all breeds, just please communicate any behavior concerns in advance for everyone's best interest (anxiety, aggression, fear biting, resource guarding, trust/fear issues, etc). *I am not taking any large breeds of dog with known human aggression at this time* (Example: fear based biting without any warning signals). However, positive introductions are strongly encouraged in advance if your dog is a breed that is naturally aloof and/or has any trust issues or struggles with a "stranger danger" mentality. I am well versed on breeds that can have different genetic breed traits and backgrounds, so rest assured, I will not judge their circumstances! I value communication and being on the same page. Safety is my #1 priority!
A typical day
Along with my petsitting services, I offer complimentary mental activites with enrichment/puzzle sessions that I am happy to send progress/updates on. Regular games of fetch, short walks in the park or neighborhood, or just plain old belly rubs can also be offered!
