I grew up in a house full of pets and assisted in their care from the time that I was young. I have hands on experience in the care and management of dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, and equines. I have assisted both in the daily care of feeding, walking, and regular cleaning and grooming of animals in my family and those of family friends from highschool onwards.

It's my aim to maintain the habits and routines you have already established with your pets. To this end I tailor my care extensively to the requests of my clientele, no request is off the table.
Information Allison E. would like to know about your pet
I am happy to receive as much information about your dog as you wish to give me, but there are a few pieces of information that are vital. I need to know if your dog currently has any infectious diseases, if your dog is anxious or aggressive around other animals, dogs, or people, including any bite history, and if your dog is an escape artist. I like to also know what breed your dog is (if known), if they have a favorite toy or game and what that is, and generally how they are on walks. These things give me an idea of what drives your dog and allows me to cater best to what they’re used to.
A typical day
A typical day with the dogs I watch starts with the first meal and any morning meds and then a walk. After this I spend about 30 minutes on supervised play. If I have other jobs that day, I stop in every couple hours to check in and provide potty breaks, as well as meals and walks as fits your dog’s typical routine.

I am a full time graduate student at the University of Illinois, and during the summer months I have very broad availability for my full range of services. I do have limited space for regular clients during the academic year as well.
