I have been caring for family friends' dogs and other animals for over ten years, and I am interested in expanding my work. I am comfortable with small and large dogs as well as cats, lizards, snakes, and many other small animals. I currently work in International Development and, unfortunately, trying to help others doesn't pay a lot and this dog-lover has student loans. I love being active and taking care of dogs is such a fun way to do that. Long or short walks are great, and I always make sure I am checking with the dog to make sure they are always comfortable. I recently rescued two kittens from the gutters of the Dominican Republic and have learned a lot about animal care from this experience.
