I have grown up my entire life with dogs in my family. I have been completely responsible for my own dogs since the age of seventeen (I am now twenty-four), so I know how it is to take care of dogs. I have also owned many other animals over the years such as cats and ferrets as well as various small rodents and reptiles. I attended Ball State University and earned my bachelor's in biology with a focus in zoology. I have been a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital for just a little under a year and I have gained much relevant experience through this position. I have kennel and boarding experience with cats and dogs as well as experience administering their medications. Through the hospital I have met many different breeds, ages and temperaments. I understand that every animal is different and I strive to make animals feel as comfortable as I possibly can. I also strive to make owners feel as comfortable as I possibly can by giving detailed updates and photo updates if desired, I understand as a dog owner how important it is knowing your animal is safe and happy. I am a fiance, home-owner, and new mother. I understand it can be busy with pets and a home and I want to gain the trust of the owners and animals that I sit/walk. I respect privacy and preferences; I take instructions from owners quite seriously when they are given because I would expect no less in the same position.
