Hello! My name is Allison, and I am a recent transplant here in Santa Fe, originally from Ohio. I have been a cat owner for almost 15 years and a dog owner for 6. I also spent 6 months as a dog walker and in home babysitter in NYC. While caring for your pet in my home, they will spend time with my 2 year old German Shepherd Husky mix, Gertrude, and my 4 year old tuxedo cat, Figaro. We have a large fenced in yard Gertie loves to run around and dig holes in. I work from home so I get to spend all day hanging out with Gertie and Figgy and we would love to have company! Gertie and I go for an hour long walk every day during my lunch break and we'd be more than happy to bring your dog along with us if they need the exercise! My work day is flexible so I am able to take off for a while during the day to do in home visits with your pets as well.

Allison has a two year old husky mix that is her world. She loves dogs and has experience walking dogs of all sizes in new york, and after moving to santa fe has wanted to start walking dogs again!

When I am sitting a pet in my home, I generally find where they are most comfortable and spend time with them there. My dog, Gertrude, is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs so she usually keeps them entertained.

Please do not book with me if you don't know how your dog does with cats or if you know they are aggressive with cats! We have a cat in the house so I will have to decline any requests with a profile that says your pet does not get along with cats.
A typical day
My pup is usually pretty sleepy in the morning, but around noon she is ready to go for a walk! We are able to walk 3 miles during my hour long lunch break. After that, she usually spends time outside in our fenced in yard. I will work from my computer on the back patio and play fetch with her.

I work from home on my computer from 8-5:30 daily. I am free to move around the house and often work from my patio when it is nice out so my dog can spend time in our fenced in yard. I use my lunch break to take my dog for a walk. We usually walk just over 3 miles.
