Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m Allison, I’m a 24 year old, recently-certified yoga teacher, & I myself am the owner of 2 cats who I love dearly, but I grew up with dogs, & am just an all-around animal lover! I don’t have the space for any more pets right now, but I love spending time with animals, so Rover is the perfect fit. I’ve spent a lot of time around various animals my entire life, including, dogs, cats, horses, snakes, & more, so I’m excited & more than prepared to help out with your animals! I also work at Culver Citydog! Club & am a pet caregiver on Wag! so I have plenty of experience doing this type of work & can’t wait to meet your pets!

I of course always carefully follow the instructions of the pet owners, first and foremost, but when it comes more to me, I just love getting to know the animals and making sure they’re comfortable and happy I’m there. I am happy to walk, drop-in, do potty breaks, feeding time, playtimes, and even dog parks for dogs that are allowed! I am happy to jog or hike as well and I always try to go above and beyond for your pets.

Let me know if there are any special needs or accommodations your dog may need. I am also comfortable with reactive/fearful dogs if given proper introduction & instructions for management! I’m happy to continue/maintain any ongoing training, medications, etc. for your dog! Every dog is different, & I want them to feel comfortable & safe!
A typical day
I always take any doggies I’m sitting out immediately upon waking up, & schedule-wise I always closely follow the schedule given to me by pet parents. I take all dogs on long, fun walks multiple times a day, & try to find nearby parks or hikes as well, unless the dog has restrictions for any reasons. I will always make sure your dog is excited when they wake up & tired/ready for sleep by the end of each day!

I am currently working at Citydog! Club in the mornings, & have a flexible & open schedule otherwise so I have plenty of time & availability to care for your pets!
