Pet care experience
For the first time in my life, I'm living without a dog. It's terrible! I'd love to care for yours to make up for it. I grew up in Kansas (Rock Chalk Jayhawk!), and I'm currently living in Bushwick. Over the years, I've worked with dogs ranging from a sick, elderly English Pointer to a crazed Golden Retriever puppy. I've been through two, six-week training programs (Puppy Level 1 and Puppy Level 2) at Petco, where I learned a lot (like how to best walk a dog!) and developed many skills. Essentially, my headline says it all. Caring for dogs doesn't feel like work, but instead, a privilege. I'd be honored to treat your dog like my own, whether it's in the form of sitting, check-ins, or walking!

Two big german shepards are a lot to handle but Allison did.Very impressed! Was nervous to leave them overnight for the first time and Allison made me feel a lot better. She walked our neighbors senior lab too, always took great care of him even though he was fragile.
Fantastic! We have both a Boston Terrier and a large lab. Allison was great with both of them; very caring and attentive. She typically took them on long walks, but she also watched them while we were on vacation a couple times (we always got plenty of updates too). Allison's availability is helpful too--always willing to step in even at the last minute.
I have a rowdy Vizsla puppy and Allison took great care of him. He stayed overnight with her multiple times and she also walked and checked in on him while I was at work. Always sent pictures and videos to me while watching him, which I appreciated!!
Allison walked my dog on a regular basis before she moved to New York. He definitely misses her! She always took great care of him and was genuinely excited to see him. She was always on time and very professional.

Toys or no toys, I’m always looking for a way to keep a pup stimulated (unless they’re worn out from a walk!). While out, I try to find at least one large green space - preferably a park!

I work from home Mondays and Fridays, and on those days and throughout the weekend, my schedule is pretty flexible! Otherwise I’m available evenings Tuesday through Thursday.
