Pet care experience
I’ve grown up around and cared for dogs all my life. In addition to raising and caring for my own dog (an Italian Greyhound who lived to be 15 years old), I also frequently watch the pets of friends and family. Pets are family, and I know how important it is to know they are being well taken care of while you’re away. You can rest easy knowing your pet will be in good hands while you’re away. I’ll love your dog like it was my own, and send you plenty of updates throughout their stay. I am good with senior pets. My last dog, Lincoln (who lived to 15 years old), was on many medications and required more specific diets as he got older, so I’m comfortable with caring for your senior as long as you let me know what they need help with ahead of time. I work from home full-time which means I will be able to give your pet lots of love and attention while you’re away. I also currently have no other pets at my house, and I only take 1 client at a time (or 2 from the same household) so you won’t need to worry about your pet getting along with any other animals during their stay. Your pet will have my undivided attention during their stay. Excited to get to know your pet better! Please let me know if you have any questions. We have left our dog with Allison a number of times. She does an amazing job!! She sends photos, and communicates with us almost daily! Our dog has a happy disposition every time she sees Allison....her tail is happily wagging!!!! I woukd definitely recommend Alison!!
Allison took care of my dog Nova this past weekend and was absolutely incredible! She was kind, communicated with regular updates and pictures of my dog, and very professional. She took Nova on many walks, played fetch for hours, and even left a hand written note reviewing her time with my dog and highlighting her favorite things about my dog. It was so nice not having to worry while I was traveling because she was in Allison’s hands. Will definitely book with Allison again!
I have two Brittany Spaniels (3 and 5) that Allison has watched multiple times. She’s watched them over both short weekends and for a full 10 days while also watching our house. One of our dogs has some pretty strict dietary needs that include the need to watch her while she’s outside so that she doesn’t eat lots of grass, mulch, and other junk off the ground. Even with our really specific care instructions Allison always does the best job taking care of our pups like they were her own. She’s a 15 year dog owner and friend to all animals! I couldn’t recommend her more.
WOW, Allison is amazing! She was professional, communicated clearly, sent regular updates with pictures for reassurance, and her house was clean and spacious. We knew immediately that our dogs would be in great hands and well cared for! I'm so glad our pups are welcomed back and we found another home for them while we're away. I appreciated knowing how good of hands our dogs were in while we were away. I highly recommend Allison to watch your fur babies!

I don’t have a backyard, but I live very close to trails and can take your dog on plenty of walks throughout their stay. I love to exercise, so happy to accommodate what your pet needs during their stay. If your dog is clingy, that is OK too. I’m happy to work with dogs who are more independent or love to be close to a human companion. My Italian Greyhound was my little shadow, so I'm used to being with dogs who maybe have a little more anxiety than others. Please just let me know ahead of time what their behavior is like, and what is normal for them. If home sitting: I treat everyone's home like it was my own and leave it better than I found it. I am super communicative, pride myself on sending you lots of pictures, and spend lots of time with your pets. I can work from anywhere with a quiet space and internet.

I would like to know the dog breed, age, their personality, how they prefer to sleep, any medications or feedings needed, any allergies, if they're up to date on vaccinations, if they are allowed around other dogs we may come across on a walk or in a park, and anything else an owner deems important for me to know.
A typical day
I'll get an idea of what your dog loves to do before their stay so I can tailor our days according to their needs and preferences. I work from home, and my schedule is pretty flexible so we can hang out together, go for walks, and play all throughout the day. :)
