Pet care experience
I grew up with 3 Siamese cats who were deeply loved and cared for. Because we did a lot of travelling, it was unfortunately never an ideal situation to get a dog. However, I have taken care of my roommates dogs (a black lab, and a golden doodle pup), taking them for long walks, feeding them and nurturing them. In the past years, I take care of my neighbors house and cat while she is away, and have been living with a 14 year old boxer (14!). I do a lot of humanitarian work, mostly with children in need in central America, but I I worked alongside a dog rescue organization in Mexico earlier this year. There, I was truly able to help our innocent furry friends recover from trauma and find happy homes. I just love animals.

Jackpot! Both Anabelle and I warmed up to Allsion immediately during our meet and greet! Allison is a playful, intuitive pet whisperer who during our trip displayed creative and nuanced care for our kitty. Her communications & photos were wonderful and reassuring. She was a perfect companion for our Anabelle, providing her with usual outdoor fresh air time, very active indoor playtimes and snuggles all with a sense of both spontaneity and rhythm to her day. Allison is fantastic at housekeeping and a fabulous cook. Time in the kitchen and enjoying everyday chores is something our kitty enjoys to do with us, providing a sense of normality in the home for Anabelle. Our home was spotless upon our return and had an aura of calm, as did our relaxed and happy one year old cat! We are most grateful for this new connection and we hope be repeat customers!

Allison is the best with our pup!
Allison was so great with my four month old puppy. I felt so comfortable leaving him with her for an overnight. Her home is a dog staycation paradise with a bucket full of toys and a fenced in back yard waiting. She sent me updates through his time with her which was really comforting for me. When I’m my flight home got significantly delayed, Allison was super flexible and accommodated the extra time needed to watch him until I got home.

Our space is set up comfortably for dogs as we had two wonderful boxers. There is a small fenced back yard and a bigger unfenced yard on a dead end street. It is a safe and quiet neighborhood with little car traffic. I understand the importance of routine, and also love to walk and simply "be there". If there are any special needs, I can help.

Of course, this all depends on the pup. I love walking around the neighborhood and on the beach. I love to also sit and snuggle with the furry friends. I am not home 100% of the day, but never far nor gone for too long.
