I’m Allison and my love of animals goes all the way back to my childhood. From horses to dogs to cats and birds, I was surrounded by furry creatures who were always so sweet and loving. From that point forward, I always considered every animal I met as family and now, every dog that I care for is treated as my family member and I use my years of experience and skills to provide exceptional care to each one. I am dedicated to around-the-clock care and you can feel comfortable knowing I’ve been thoroughly vetted and background checked. Coupled with my experience, you can always be sure that your pup is being left with a responsible and caring provider. I have worked with and owned horses and dogs for 25 years and have now used those skills to pet sit and dog walk. I look forward to giving your pet the kind and attentive care they deserve. I know how hard it is to be away from your canine counterpart so I am sure to stay in frequent and consistent communication, sending photo and text updates so you know how safe your dog is in my care. I also give lots of treats, cuddles, and pets and maybe even a brush or bath if you’d like. In addition to my practical skills with animals, I’m also a personal dog owner to Diego. He has been a huge part of my life and has acted as my service dog in addition to my personal pet.

Was disappointed with lack of photos and communication. She reused the same 3 photos for the 5 days we were gone. We ran out of food in the Tupperware - rather than asking me if there was more (there was) she purchased random food. Left it in the counter where our dog could reach, then sent a nasty text because he got up there - ate it all - and proceeded to poop all over the house. Which she took photos of but didn’t clean up. She also didn’t take him out on one walk when we paid her to come 3X a day for that sole purpose. Wish I would have read reviews closer….sounds like a pattern.
Allison was wonderful from driving beforehand to meet Maverick and the family until saying goodbye! First time using Rover and I know who I’ll be requesting the next time we need someone! Thank Allison!
Allison did a perfect job taking care of our two needy cats. One requires an inhaler dose twice/day and his brother wants constant attention. So, it's a big job taking care of them. She also managed the daily household tasks and kept my many outdoor potted plants watered. We also appreciated the daily text messages and photos. She deserves a superior rating!
Would not recommend for long term/ overnights. I explicitly asked Allison to not leave our dogs for more that 3-4 hours at a time. One day she left for 5 hours and the next for 6. I had to ask a neighbor to come let my dogs out because it had been so long. It was really frustrating since we talked about it in person and I reminded her over text. She then got upset with her for “checking in on her” which I stated I’m not checked in on you, I’m checking in on my dogs. I’ve never been told to not check in on my animals - it was very strange. I’m sure she is fine for walks, but if you have time specific needs I would love for someone else.

I also love when my clients make sure to bring treats, food, toys, beds and blankets, collar and leashes, and any medicine their pet might take.
A typical day
While in my care your dog will be safe and happy! We’ll be sure to go on a long morning walk, afternoon walk, and evening walk before we settle down for the night.
