I have been a dog lover my whole life, with soft spots for golden retrievers and corgis. My family has two large dogs, a mixed border collie and mixed retriever, who are sweet, people lovers. I am currently a renter, so I can't own a pet, but would love to care for others around the city. I am a freelance graphic designer, so communication, accountability, and punctuality are of great important to me. I will care for your pets as my own, and ask questions about their behaviors and habits to make sure their routines keep them happy and comfortable. I want to be a dog sitter because while I am a freelance worker, it often means I don't get out as much as I should, and often results in long hours by myself in my office. What's a better reason then to spend some quality time with a four-legged friend, giving them some fresh air or company?

Allison is fantastic! She has watched our wild corgis for a few extended stays and we always trust they are in good hands. She send thoughtful updates and I would highly recommend her to any potential dog owners.
Allison is a great job with our high energy corgis! It was such a comfort to receive picture updates and know they had a wonderful Christmas while we were gone.
Allison watched our dog in our home for 2 weeks while we were in Scotland. Our dog, Monocle, can be a little neurotic when we're gone, not eating, moping around, stuff like that. Allison made her feel totally safe and loved, even taking the time to sleep at our house a few times to make sure she felt safe at night (even though we told her she didn't have to). She also understood that we are clingy, needy puppy parents, and sent us frequent updates and pictures of what she was up to while we were gone. I know we're pathetic, but she was totally cool and understanding about it. Monnie still gets insanely excited whenever Allison comes around for a visit, and we would definitely ask her to dogsit again, no question. She was great!
Allison watched our small doxie/terrier miss while we were out of the country for 2 weeks. It was our first time having an in-house pet sitter and Allison alleviated all our fears! She came over before we left to meet Monocle and we went on a walk together, as our little one doesn't adjust well to new people taking her places. Allison was completely wonderful in making Monocle feel comfortable and even got her to eat while we were gone! We loved the regular email updates with photos and arriving home to a happy little doggie that was able to enjoy the comfort of home while we were gone. Also loved not having the hassle of boarding pick up times and it was great knowing someone was at the house regularly. We cannot recommend Allison highly enough, she was wonderful with our anxious girl and we will never board again.
