Pet care experience
I am a kitten rescuer, and have been since July 2021. I am now a foster mentor for a kitten rescue in Long Beach, where I administer oral medications, subcutaneous fluids and medications, and vaccinations, as well as testing of all types and for all things. I’m a foster for the organization as well, and adopted my cat from them in October 2022. I have a 15-year-old dog named Bandit. He gets along with every dog but he does have issues with American bulldogs (I cannot explain this one to you 😝). I also have two young cats who get along with everyone. They love dogs who love them, and are fine staying in their bedroom if a dog doesn’t like them!

Allison was great with my dog Gizmo! I would definitely book with her again. She gave me updates regularly and took wonderful care of my dog. He has a bit of separation anxiety and after a couple of days he had adjusted. He came home happy and well taken care of.

My home is pet friendly and I am an animal lover and advocate. I live in a gated community where there are many other dog owners. I have a patio that leashed dogs can relax on (it is unfenced) in the shade of a big tree. There are no other humans in the home, so it is a peaceful environment for any pets who stay.

A typical day
There is a nice walk through my community, as well as a dog beach, dog park, and dog friendly hiking within 25 minutes of my home that I like to bring my own dog to.

Availability
I work as a middle school teacher 5 minutes from my home. I leave for work at 7:30am and come back home at 3:15pm. I walk my own dog at 7:15am right before I leave, and at 3:15 right when I get home.
