Pet care experience
I had the most wonderful boxer, Greta, for twelve years and grew up with dogs throughout my childhood. I have always considered our pets to be another member of our families, and I take their care very seriously. I grew up in Asheville, so I know the area very well - where to and where not to take dogs of different breeds and sizes. I have an SUV, therefore, I can accommodate dogs of all sizes if I need to make an emergency trip to the vet or go on a play date:) I know Asheville's best vets if I ever find myself in a pickle and can reach neither you nor your family vet. Simply, I adore man's best friend, and I'd love to be there for yours when you're away.

Allison did a great job with my older Great Pyrenees mixed breed girls. She took them for walks and made them feel safe and secure while I was away. I can tell she loved on them, especially Playdoh! She sent pictures to let me know they were all getting along. I'll use her again!
Allison will shower your canine with abundant affection, including mouth kisses and puppy talk. Our dog is so excited about spending quality time with Allison that even walking by her car prompts lots of tail action. She really connects with your animal, and the love exchanged is absolutely and apparently mutual.
Allison absolutely flat out loves dogs. Whenever she comes to our house, our dog springs towards the fence wagging her tail in an abundance of joy when she recognizes Allison. We're always trying to be considerate of our guests, and keep our youngish dog off of the visitors, as she's constantly trying to play and lick our house guests. Allison brushes us away and insists on bonding with our pup. I highly recommend Allison for any dog care needs you may have, as you can be entirely sure that your dog will be loved while it is with Allison.

I need to know the dog's temperament, and if he/she is ok with children. If I am going to be stopping by the house throughout the day, but not sleeping over, I may have my children in tow. I need to know the dog's routine throughout the day, especially meal time, morning and evening routines. Are there any places the dog doesn't like to be touched? Any special toys? Does the dog have an aversion to either males or females? Any other information specific to your dog is always appreciated and helpful.
A typical day
Depending on the dogs activity level, we can do anything from going on jogs together, playing outside, a road trip to one of Asheville's dog parks...or we could simply chill with a movie and a dog massage.
