Allie was wonderful with our dog and house sitting. She came by before the sitting to meet us and Kingsley. Then provided pictures and feedback the whole time she was sitting. Kingsley was very well taken care of. We definitely appreciate her and will hire her again when we need a dog/house sitter.

I would not recommend Allie. I have a 2 year old Australian Shepard and an English Bulldog. The bulldog is very low maintenance. He stays in his crate and does not require a lot of attention. The Shepard however needs to be walked daily. He was recently trained through the k9 training so he likes off leash walks.. He has a lot of energy and needs daily exercise otherwise he becomes bored. She said she could take care of all my requirements and agreed to do the things I asked her to do which mainly was a daily walk. She supposedly stayed in our home for 2 weeks. I don’t think she was there much but more busy with her other priorities. I paid the fee plus gave her $100 to take him to the doggy park and or daily walks in addition we bought food for her while staying in our house. We did not get updates. She did not provide a phone number. All contacts came through Rover. I should have known not to use her when she said she has a few horses and a part time job as well as Community College. We were planning on giving her more money when we returned. Obviously the daily walks did not happen which she basically admitted when I asked her why the dog was tearing up things in our house while we were out of town. We came back to dog pee in the house and many things torn up and even a couch pillow torn up in our back yard. Not sure how he even got a couch pillow out of our home and in the back yard. People like this give pet sitter’s and pet services a bad name. Not sure if I will use Rover services again.
