Pet care experience
Hey there! My name is Allie and I am a young paw-fessional living in the Greater Boston area where I work as a health educator and mental health counselor. While my job is very people-oriented, I LOVE furry friends of all shapes and sizes! In fact, though I work mostly with humans as a mental health counselor, one of my favorite parts of my job is serving as the coordinator of our therapy dog program at work. I know the very real importance of animals in our lives, and I value the therapeutic relationship between us humans and our furry friends. Thus, I am happy and honored to help care for yours! Aside from growing up with a small farm at home (dogs, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, turtles, geckos, you name it!), for well over a decade now, I have been hired by families to care for their pets. Whether it be overnight stays, walking, medication administration, or just checking in to make sure they are doing alright while you are at work or away for the day. I am highly organized, patient, and kind and I know how much a pet means to a family, so I take the job of caring for your's very seriously. I appreciate the opportunity to speak more in person and hopefully I can help with whatever needs you may have! :)

Fun, loving and not afraid to do the yucky stuff...Allie has cared for all of our pets (dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs) for years and has a great way with animals. They all love her - but equally as important as fun -- she's willing to clean up messes and follow up with any medically necessary treatments. That is invaluable in caring for my fur babies!
Allie is the ultimate dog lover and caretaker of all things! I have known her for over twenty years and would trust her with anything that is important to me, especially my two pups! She has watched them countless times and is one of the few that can handle their energy and antics. She treats my boys as if they are her own and I feel safe and relaxed when they are with her. Would highly recommend Allie to take care of your furry, four-legged children :)
I highly recommend Allie as a dog sitter. She is very responsible and a lover of all animals. Allie grew up in a household of dogs from a young age, caring and loving them throughout her life. She knows how to take care of animals in the best and worst situations. I can recall a time where my dog had a cut on his paw and allie came to the rescue. Without panicking she knew exactly what to do. She made sure the dog was comforted as she cleaned the wound and wrapped it carefully to make sure there would be no infection. Allie is the type of person who will stop and pet a dog because it makes her happy. I highly recommend her as a dogsitter, dog walker or anything that relates to dogs.
