Pet care experience
I have been fostering dogs through PAWS and OTAT for the last 2+ years, I volunteer regularly at the OTAT Adoption Center, and prior to that I grew up taking care of both a cat and a dog. I’ve also had experience dog and cat sitting for friends and family! Overall, I love dogs and cats, and while I’m not quite ready to commit to adopting my own yet, I am excited to be working with Rover to make sure your pets are well cared for!

In my home, I have two great outdoor spaces - a front balcony and a rooftop deck - that would be a great spot for a pet to explore. They are both surrounded by brick walls (so no gaps for escapes!) and very safe. I live in a 2000 sq ft apartment, so there is plenty of space indoors as well. Other that that, there is a lot of great quiet streets for walks, and a lovely coffee shop that offers dog treats in their pick up window nearby!

Please let me know if your pet has any special food restrictions, exercise restrictions, as well as their behavior with other animals and people (i.e. if we are in a walk, should we avoid getting close to other dogs).
A typical day
I love watching dogs as it gives me an excuse to get outside and get some exercise myself, so I can definitely do some longer walks! I also have fun playing with dogs/cats (fetch, tug of war, catnip toys, etc.), give great scratches, and can make some yummy kong or lick mat treats for the pups (with owner permission).

Availability
I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, so I’m great if you ever need a long weekend sitter! Of note, I do mark my calendar as unavailable on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday given I have to go to the office those days, but I am occasionally available in the evenings for walks and drop ins so definitely feel free to reach out to ask!
