Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Allie! I was inseparable from my childhood dog and I grew up taking care of dogs and other animals in my neighborhood. Though I currently do not have any pets, Rover lets me get some much-needed time with animals. I will treat your pet as my own and I'm very ready to give long walks, snuggles, and belly rubs:) In college, I boarded dogs at my house every time I went home for breaks, and a few of my return clients have continued to use me as a dogsitter for more than 5 years (one calls us their dog's adopted second family). I am new to DC, and I'm looking to meet some new regular clients and their pets. I have flexible hours, so I'll work with you to figure out what works best for you and your furry friend.

Allie was awesome! She went above and beyond while dog sitting at our place! She was great, sent us photos, gave us updates on our dog and even cleaned up our place! Would absolutely use her again to dog sit!! Highly, highly recommend!!

A typical day
I'm new to the DC area so love getting out to explore the city. I think walking is the best way to see a new place, so I'm excited to go on adventures with your dog to check out the local parks and sights.

Availability
I currently work from home three days a week and I'm typically home on the weekends as well. My work hours even when I'm in the office are relatively flexible and I love getting outside during the day so will definitely make sure your pup is getting enough walks.
