Flexible, attentive, quiet
Pet care experience
Rural setting with plenty of space for your pooch to play! Sitter with years of experience boarding and training large and small critters to keep a careful eye on your pet all day or night and flexible "potty breaks"! Special attention to body language and minor details helps keep your pet relaxed and stress free when they are home away from home! For your active pooch, we have plenty of space for fetch or woodland hikes around state parks and trails! For older dogs or those that prefer the quiet lifestyle, we run a tidy, quiet household with plenty of windows for observing the outdoors from a comfy couch or bed. My husband and I have worked closely with service dogs, high energy breeds, and puppies. Honest, reliable and trustworthy sitter means you can relax from work or even while visiting our historic town!
Reviews
We are so grateful for Allie’s help! Our boy loved his last minute stay. He even got to meet some kitties! We received clear communication before and during his time with her. Thank you Allie!

Allie is always fantastic! Sami enjoys every visit!
Allie’s updates really helped to calm my nerves about leaving my luna girl while we went on our trip. She was extremely nice and she is super to work with! Definitely 100/10 recommend!

We keep dogs leashed at our home since our yard is not fenced. We love being able to take active dogs with us to the farm and letting them play in our large, fenced sand arena or taking long walks around the property and down to the stream on warm days! In our home, we are able to keep dogs separated when they need quiet time or their own space utilizing baby gates and half doors so they never feel claustrophobic. Our girls are with us all the time and even have their own bedroom in our home. We have large, covered crates available if your dog needs crated or just appreciates the crate as a safe zone. We do occasionally have other boarders in as well, especially during peak vacation season, but we take these case-by-case based on a good fit and we keep play times to 3 dogs so that no one gets overwhelmed. Dogs always have their own space within our home and are not crowded together.

Information Allie S. would like to know about your pet
We love to know about any aggression issues, each dog has their limits and we can keep everyone happy and safe when we know how to keep those limits comfortable! As pointer people, we understand and love high energy dogs! While it makes things easy when we need to step out of our house if dogs are crate trained, we understand that's not always the case. Dogs do need to respect either a crate or a baby gate so that we can keep dogs secure and separate particularly during mealtimes so that unnecessary stress doesn't happen for any dogs in our home.
A typical day
Plenty of room for fetch and outdoor play! Our own GSP's love new friends and helps them relax by sharing her favorite toys! We love to hike around the Bedford Springs, Shawnee State Park and our own private 40 acres! In the summer time, a doggie pool is a fixture at our home for water loving dogs and my husband is an excellent tennis ball thrower!

I run a horse boarding barn a mile away, so my hours are flexible and I am able to be home with pups when I need to be. My husband has flexible work hours too and loves to help out with the dogs, so we can usually make any schedule work and the dogs get plenty of exercise! My two GSP'S spend basically all their time with me, whether at home relaxing for the day, working in the garden, or helping me at the farm. We have lots opportunities to take walks around the farm in a quiet, rural setting and we love heading to state parks! Our lives revolve around our critters and making sure they are happy and healthy!
