Pet care experience
I have had my own dog for 12 years and have been caring for other people’s pets for the past year. I love getting to be a part of their lives and make their time away from their owner a little less stressful. I have experience with all kinds of pets from puppies to seniors, anxious to cuddlers, and couch potatoes to super active pets. I have been a babysitter for my whole life which has allowed me to gain the skills of patience and compassion which translates into my interactions with pets allowing me to meet them where they are. If they are up for being friends I love that, if they need me to simply provide care and leave them be I am happy with that as well. My goal is to provide your pet the best care for them. I believe in making sure your pet is cared for and loved as if they were my own. I have experience delivering medication and special food as well. I also have a flexible work schedule which allows me to tailor my schedule with the intent to match your pets needs as close as possible. I do my very best to arrange my schedule so their routine is not disturbed to help keep their stress levels down and allow them to remain as unaffected by me being around as possible.

Allie was so patient with our anxious goldendoodle as she slowly warmed up to her. She went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable at her own pace. Allie was extremely communicative and shared daily pics and updates. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog/house sitter. You could barely tell Allie was here for a week!
Allie is very responsive and flexible. She treats my dog Coyi as her own, and Coyi loves her. It is so valuable to find someone you can trust especially being new to the area.
I was so nervous to leave my three furbabies( one who is a senior bulldog). We couldn't have asked for a more perfect person than Allie! She was so incredibly sweet and accommodated our Roxie when she was having trouble eating. She even went above and beyond taking care of things in the house that I wasn't even thinking of. If we ever need someone again-Allie would be my absolute #1 choice!!
Allie was wonderful! Most importantly she loved our fur babies! We have a rescue that is difficult to win over and Allie did it easily. Her communication with us was perfect. She asked if we wanted pics/updates and we got them! She did above and beyond helping with watering the veggie garden,etc.! She was respectful of our house - which is very important to us! Allie was also is close communication with us for our beginning and ending times to make sure we got home from our long drive and there was little time for them to be left alone. She must also have a magic touch with cats as well because we even got pics of them playing! (Which almost never happens) thanks Allie! Almost forgot that we added our parent's dog for Allie to watch along with ours at the last minute and she was happy to take him in!)

When caring for your pets my main goal is to replicate their daily life as close as possible so they have minimal disruption to their schedule. I aim to provide an abundance of love and attention to pets in my care. If I am providing drop ins/walks I always ensure to finish the tasks needed for that visit and spend any extra time giving attention to your pet. I am happy to do whatever is needed to care for your pet just as I would care for my own. If I am pet sitting your pet/house becomes mine and I will treat it with the utmost respect as I would my own. I do my best to ensure that clients are kept up to date on their pets’ care and come home happy pets and a cared for home.

Please let me know if your pets have any special needs, both behavioral needs (such as anxiety), and medical (medications/health issues) that I should be aware of. It is also helpful to know how long they can be alone so I can make sure my schedule is able to accommodate them. As stated before I am not away from home for long periods typically, but it is still good to know to make sure I am able to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while I am there.
A typical day
I care for a range of pets all who have their own favorite things to do. I love to provide walks (both long and short), play with toys (fetch and tug of war are two of my favorites), and give all the cuddles pets allow me to give. I also have pets I care for with anxiety and/or seniors with health issues who prefer to be left alone so we spend time watching Tv and reading together, to provide them with companionship how they are comfortable.

Availability
I currently have a very flexible work schedule allowing me to tailor my days to fit your pets’ needs as best I can. I work with clients almost every day so I am away from the house for around 6 hours per day. I almost always have the ability to drop in on a client within those hours however if I am pet sitting and that is too long for your pet to be left.
