Long Walks & Doggie Snuggles
Pet care experience
I have yet to meet a dog that hasn't loved and trusted me almost instantly. Getting on their level for scratches behind the ears and light wrestling is really fun for me and for the dog. I love to have a dog with me for a long neighborhood walk or woodland hike. I also know how to quickly establish dominance with a dog while still being able to be their cuddle buddy. I was raised with a golden retriever and have experience sitting a number of medium and large breed dogs. I have lived with roommates who have dogs and have made fast canine friends with them. I've also worked on a farm with dogs so know how to handle dogs off leash as well.

Allie is fantastic!
Allie cared for our 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 40 chickens while we were away for a week and did a great job. She is very responsible and sent regular updates and pictures. She was a huge help, all our animals and our farm were very well cared for!
I've got a high-energy dog with some special dietary needs. Allie very kindly watched after her while I was traveling, accommodating for all her needs. When I came back, little did I know my dog had a new best friend!

I would like to know details regarding the dogs temperament, any triggers that could make the dog anxious, how the dog responses to other people and dogs while on walks, and how well the dog general responds to commands. I would like to know what some of your cats favorite toys are, how they prefer to be approached by new people, and if they tend to hid in the company of new people.
A typical day
We would enjoy neighborhood walks, tug of war, and snuggles! I also happy to take your dog to a dog park or off lease location pre-approved by you for extra doggie running freedom. I'm also well versed in cat playtime activities such as string chasing and the joys of cardboard boxes and paper bags. I'm down to snuggle with your pup, your kitty, or both.

Most pet care for overnight stays will fit best in terms of morning and evening care. For drop in visits or walks, pet care will easily fit into my afternoons.
