Pet care experience
I currently work as a vet assistant at an animal hospital. I have a large interest in animal behavior and care, and believe it's what I'm meant to do. I had a chihuahua who unfortunately passed away last year. Both my work experience and personal experience led me to be confident in my pet care abilities. My availability is limited to afternoon and evening but I'm willing to work with your schedule to the best of my ability. I'm a sucker for small breeds, but have worked with large dogs as well and have no problem taking care of them. I'm willing to travel up to 30 miles with the only exception being if the driving conditions are hazardous. Any questions you have for me I would be happy to answer. It's important to know of they are high energy or low energy. If there are any health issues that needs to be expressed immediately. It's also important to know at least a little bit of their behavior. Some dogs are very social with people and other animals, while others may have more anxiety when it comes to that.
A typical day
It's important to know the dogs energy level. If they are high energy it's important for them to get lots of exercise. An easy way to do this is to go for a long walk or play catch for a while. I really enjoying walking on scenic trails.
