Pet care experience
I graduated from UNC-Wilmington in May 2016 with a Biology degree. During college I trained service dogs through the organization Paws4People. Since then I moved to Raleigh and have been working as a surgical nurse at an animal hospital. I just got accepted to UNC Chapel Hill’s nursing program and am looking for ways I can still work with furry friends without the strenuous schedule in the veterinary hospital. Through these experiences, I’m very well adapted to dogs needs, responsibilities, dog communication and of course all the lovin’ they need! I would love to help others with their busy schedules to make sure their beloved pet is well taken care of. I’m willing to cater to each individual dog needs to give them the best experience and keep your mind at ease. I can take them out to exercise, allow play dates with my personal dogs, or just give some snuggles on the couch,

Allie is an amazing person, that has shown her love for animals of all varieties her whole life. Her love of animals is evident in her home life, as well as her work life. She takes care of my dog frequently, as well as other people's animals while working at a Vet office. I feel confident leaving my best friend with her anytime, and I think others should too!
Allie is the most genuine person when it comes to dogs! She has so much experience from being a vet tech and working with for a company where she trained service dogs. She has a true passion for every dog, big or small, and would put herself first to make sure each and every fur baby is loved and well taken care of. You won't find a more compassionate person to take care of your pet!

I would like to know if they get along with other dogs or not and how they are with new people. This allows me to know how they’ll interact as we pass people/dogs on walks or if they're able to be at my house with my two personal dogs. I would like to know if they have any other aggressive or destructive tendencies. It's also important to me that dogs are on flea prevention.
A typical day
My favorite place for walks are nature trails. Depending on where your house is located, I’m willing to find a nearby park or trail to give your dogs more scenery and new places to explore. I will also simply take a stroll around the neighborhood, too. I live near Lake Benson Park and White Deer Trail, which are great places for exercise.
