I was the third and last child born in my family, but actually I was the fourth. We had a miniature poodle who was there before me, he lived to be 17. Losing him was one of the hardest things I ever went through, that was 28 years ago and I still dream about him. My Dad got a little black poodle quite a few years after that, we lost him in a tragic way over 10 years ago and that still hurts my heart to this day. I now have a Boston Terrier 'Alfie' that is the joy of my life. He is never allowed to cross that rainbow bridge! I'm the type of person that waves 'hello' to dogs on the street, and I will ask every owner I see if I can pet their dog. If you are wanting to have your dog stay with me, I would like to introduce our dogs first ( I will come to your home or a neutral meeting place at no charge ) Alfie is very good and loves most dogs, but once in a blue moon he gets his back up ( He thinks these dogs are better looking than him but I keep telling him he is the most handsome dog in the world! ) It's very rare but I would like them to meet just to be sure. I am very flexible with hours and visits as my husband and I work from home, so there will always be someone here to look after your family member. And they are allowed on the furniture!! Alfie is on daily medication and a special diet as well so I am used to looking after dogs with 'special needs'. When you book with me I would like to know as much information about your pet as you can give so we can all have the best experience together!
