My partner, Luke, and I have been loving parents of our Aussie-Mix, Kona, for over three years now. In addition to our lovely time raising her, we've also hosted our friends’ dogs on countless occasions and have experience fostering puppies. We both currently work from home, so we have plenty of time throughout the day to take the dogs out for walks. We typically take Kona and other dogs we watch on three walks a day — one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and a longer one in the evening. If your dog likes long walks and/or dog parks, you're in luck! We live just a couple blocks from the Silver Lake Reservoir and Dog Park, where we like to take the dogs every night if we can. If your pup is a bit older and wants to take it easy, we can easily offer that as well! Your pup will have a great time playing with Kona. She is very well socialized — gentle, energetic, and intuitive when playing with other dogs. We allow dogs on all our furniture, and have plenty of toys to play with and windows to look out of (we've got some great squirrel watching).

This is the second time Leo has stayed with Allie and luke and he had the best time! They even went to the beach where he could run and dig in the sand! Leo loves being with them and they took good care of him during the fireworks (which he hates!). He can’t wait to stay with them again!
Allie and Luke were so sweet to our dog Moira! They’re super responsive when booking and sent cute photos and lots of updates. You can tell right away that they are kind and intelligent dog lovers. We will definitely have Moira stay with them again!
Allie was the best! I got multiple updates about Leo a day and know that he had an amazing time! It was so great knowing that Leo was being well taken care of and I didn’t have to stress! They live in our neighborhood and Leo even tried to go back to their house on our morning walk, so safe to say he loved it as well!
I could not recommend Allie as a dog sitter enough! She is incredibly reliable, attentive, communicative, and will love up on your dog for the duration you're gone. I feel comfortable leaving my dog, Texan, with Allie for my longest trips as I know she will honor my instructions, send me daily updates, and keep him safe and secure.

We’ll keep a constant eye on your dog if needed to make sure they’re happy and comfortable throughout their stay. They’ll be able to play with our dog, but she will give your dog space if they aren’t interested. We have a small, enclosed, mulched backyard that they can hangout in during the day and give us company while we eat lunch in the back every afternoon. We have plenty of room for a crate if your dog needs to sleep in one at night, otherwise they are more than welcome to sleep on the couch or in our room.

A typical day
We wake up around 7AM and eat breakfast together. After that, we go for about a mile long walk around the neighborhood. We then hang out at home while we work- playing with toys, napping, and looking out the windows for squirrels. Another walk typically happens after lunch, which is usually another mile long neighborhood walk. We eat dinner around 6PM and then head for a walk around the Reservoir (about 3 miles) or to the dog park. The pups can either sleep in our room in the dog beds or on the couch in the living room.

Availability
My partner and I both work from home so we are able to give your dog the attention that they need and keep them preoccupied! We get up around 7am to take the dogs out on a morning walk, another around 1pm, then a longer walk around the Silver Lake Reservoir at night; sometimes with a stop at the dog park on the way back.
