Pet care experience
I grew up having a dog being the primary caretaker of him. I am very passionate about animals and providing them with the right care that they need and deserve. I am experienced with pet medications since my own dog is very old and has many medications due to the health issues that his breed normally experiences. I have looked after a friend's pitbull before and absolutely loved my time with him. I have volunteered at an animal shelter in Chicago, as well as at a wolf conservation in Colorado. If your dog has a lot of energy or requires excessive amounts of exercise, I would be perfect for him/her/them. I am a full-time student, currently without work due to the pandemic (normally will work at a CrossFit gym 8 hours/week). My weekends are usually completely open.

Allie is a true lover of dogs. As long as I can remember, I've watched her treat dogs and their owners with care, respect, and attention specific to their needs. She is always professional and responsible without letting those qualities inhibit her energetic and fun-loving attitude toward animals.
Allie LOVES dogs. She's a Type A person in her work, is very reliable, and take care of your dog responsibly and with much love.

While my apartment does not offer outdoor space, I live near parks and love to have playtime both in an out of the apt (as needed). I can crate your pet if needed but am also totally comfortable with animals roaming freely through the apartment.

I would really just like to be aware of anything out of the ordinary about a dog. For example, any health problems, allergies, chronic coughing or noises, habits, etc. I would also appreciate knowing a dog's favorite activities, petting spots, etc. If you are in the process of training your dog, I would be happy to continue that training while sitting.
A typical day
I love going on walks in nature (as close to nature as you can get in Boston at least), so the Boston Common, the fens, and along the Charles River are a few of my favorite places to walk. I love playing with dogs of all sizes. Some people find that their pets enjoy watching animal planet, and I found that to be the case with my own dog.

Availability
I currently am a 3/4 time student and work part time at a CrossFit gym. My weeks are fairly open with 1-2 classes a day and working on Saturday mornings. Mondays I attend class 11am-2pm and 3pm-9pm, but that is the only busy day in my schedule. Apart from Monday’s I can walk/care for your pet throughout the day as needed!
