Pet care experience
I have been a foster parent for the Lollypop Farm Humane Society since 2016, housing dogs, cats and small animals in my home and caring for them when they need it most. I have experience with feral cats and other "difficult" animals that need extra love, in addition to young animals still learning how to navigate this big world. I also have vast experience with exotic animals. I have 5 chinchillas, one of whom is 22 years old! Guinea pigs, bearded dragons and geckos are also a part of my menagerie, but I have also had birds and rats in the past if your feathered or small rodent baby needs some TLC as well. Cats and dogs have been part of my existence for my entire life, so I would say I'm better at taking care of them than I am myself!

Allie is a caring and responsible individual and pet owner. She has cared for my dog in the past and I would not hesitate to have her come again. She spends time playing with my high energy dog out in the yard and gives him tons of attention inside the house too. I highly recommend her!
Allie housesat for my little monster when I went out of town. She sent great pictures and updates, and I think Moe-Moe was sad to see her go when the weekend was over. Cannot recommend Allie enough.

I have a fenced in yard and 2 dogs to keep your fur baby company. If you prefer your dog be crated, that can be arranged, but I am currently unemployed so is not entirely necessary except maybe at nighttime if they need to keep to a routine. If you have an elderly or special needs dog that can't be around my high energy dogs, a safe space can be made for them. If you have a rat, chinchilla or ferret, I have an empty Critter Nation enclosure that can serve as their vacation home. I have been taking care of animals my entire life and would treat yours like my very own.

If you could give me a description of your dog's personality, energy levels, likes and dislikes (and EXTREME dislikes), that would be helpful to know ahead of time so I am prepared. Some dogs play rough, some are toy dragons who guard all the things, some are dainty and need extra snuggles. These are all okay, it's just nice to know what to expect.
A typical day
I have been through walk etiquette training with Lollypop Farm and know how to keep a dog entertained during a walk, but not too stimulated. During walks we will sniff all the things the world has to offer and be nice to any ducks or squirrels we encounter.

Availability
I am currently not working full time, so my life revolves fully around the needs of my animals and the lives of other potential animals that need my care. My morning routine involves giving my cat with hyperthyroidism his medication, feeding all the animals, letting the dogs outside to do their business and run amok. Then the needs of the small animals are attended to and litter boxes are scooped. There are various snuggle sessions and potty breaks throughout the day until the morning routine is repeated in the evening.
